I dunno why the last two weeks have been so silent on Kraii, but hopefully that'll change soon. Aletta had a no good week and Vik is helping IRL so both couldnt be around. I am, however, always around at my usual times (3-5/6 PM Muck time) but...ah well..hopefully things pick up again within this week. Sorry folks. For ideas and suggestions I'd be glad.. And if you are already on AIM folks, then please connect to Kraii too. At least make it _seem_ active. u.u

Anyways..with people hopefully returning soon theres a few IC things that should keep us busy:

a) Verans plot thickens as he plans to get rid of Enrique once and for good. How, is the question so stay tuned.

b) Rescott found an opertunity to get rid of several people at once and he doesnt like the royal family much either. For details ask himself.

c) The Xenith plan to lay siege on Norwood but will they suceeed? And how will Viktor react?

d) Also trying to get some pirate plots to happen on Everden Island.

20th February, 2005. 9:16 pm. Chara Limit news and some suggestions from Kkaz player

Short note for the chara limit. Its has been raised to five charas per player. BUT! - make sure that you are able to give all your charas equally as much time and actually RP them. I dont wanna see unusued chara blogging up places, just idling around, created for one or two times of RP. RPing is a responsibility, and with more charas you might have more loose ends to tie up so please request charas in a responsible manner.

Also- keep recruiting and advertise whervever you can! We need more players!

But now to the important part- as you all know the people of K'raii believe God-like beings called the Collossus, which are known to have wandered the planet in the past before they went to the outer plains. At least thats what people think happened. Kkaz player now suggested that the Collosus, as theyre seen as good, would possibly have opposite half Gods. Like theres always a good and an evil side to everything, even as those evil ones would be less powerful. Heres what he came up with. It is said that the Collossus are the keepers of K’raii. This is simply half-true. As there is good in the world, there is also evil. The Urv’nir are their dark counterparts, the keepers of that which is black and cruel within K’raii.


The COLOSSUS
Dragon – Thrin. Rules over: Strength, courage, virtue, war, duty, guardianship, competition, athletics, the Collossus.
Tigress – U’nei. Rules over: Beauty, loyalty, kindness, the sky, freedom, healing, inspiration, romance, renewal.
Wolf – Alite. Rules over: Wisdom, nature, agriculture, balance, perseverance, hunting, crafts, growth.
Ibis – Falitir. Rules over: Technology, science, law, justice, oaths, stability, invention, the sea, learning.
Lapine – Calypso. Rules over: Death, celestial afterlife (heaven), magic, hedonism, love, burial rites, fertility.

Thrin lords over all of the Collossus. Said to be a mighty dragon of shining gold and majesty, he is the supreme god of the Collossus. He rules over strength, courage, virtue, war, strategy, competition, duty, guardianship and athletics. He is called the Golden God, the Great Wyrm, and the Herald of Might.

U’nei, Lady of the Sun and Moon, is one of the Collossus beneath Thrin. She is a snow tigress, clad in lustrous silks and shimmering gems upon her beautiful form. She is the mistress of beauty, loyalty, kindness, the sky, freedom, healing, inspiration, romance, and renewal.

Alite is the nature deity of the Collossus. Said to be cool-headed and thoughtful, he is a shaman-like wolf, with tales and runes painted upon himself and feathers and bones adorned upon his mane. He lords over wisdom, nature, agriculture, balance, perseverance, hunting, crafts and growth.

Falitir is the most analytical of the Collossus. An ibis, intelligent and tall, he studied theorems and mathematics, and how the natural world coincided with the scientific. He lords over technology, science, law, justic, oaths, stability, invention, learning and the waters that give life to the beings of K’raii. He is called the Great Teacher, and the Scholar of the World.

Calypso is rumored to be the loveliest of the Collossus, and perhaps the most beautiful being ever to be known to K’raii. A sensuous lapine, she promoted living life in excess while understanding that death is just another part of life. She holds those dead who lived well and good, holding them close to her heart. She rules over death, the celestial afterlife (heaven), magic, hedonism, love, proper burials and fertility.



The URV’NIR

Dracolich – Nozhindrix. Rules over: Secrets, corruption, undeath, fear, darkness, emptiness, destruction, shadow magic, curses, the Urv’nir.
Moloch (thorny devil) – Hifi’iju. Rules over: Tyranny, torture, hatred, greed, misfortune, intrigue, plunder.
Scorpion – Buonnak. Rules over: Poison, slavery, pain, revenge, betrayal, lies, cruelty, torment.
Worm – Jurraghahk. Rules over: Decay, parasites, outcasts, loss, suffering, infernal afterlife (hell), gluttony, vanity.
Boar – Karahem. Rules over: Murder, jealousy, stalking, discord, bloodlust, savagery, insanity, disease.

Nozhindrix rules with cruelty and malice over the rest of the Urv’nir. He is said to be an ancient rival to Thrin, and being a dragon himself attests to that. But he is undead, a dracolich, black-hearted and wicked. He appears as an animated, black skeleton of a dragon, with bits of flesh still hanging onto his bones and wings. A deep red essence is said to be within the sockets of his eyes. He rules over secrets, corruption, undeath, fear, darkness, emptiness, destruction, shadow magic and curses.

Buonnak is the antithesis of U’nei’s power. He is a giant scorpion, malevolent and vicious. It his said that his venomous tail brought vice upon the world. An absolute sadist, he rules over poison, slavery, pain, revenge, betrayal, lies, cruelty and torment.

Karahem is insane. An enormously strong and savage razorback boar, his diseased mind and chaotic actions have earned him the emnity of Alite. A paranoid and capricious creature, he rules over murder, jealousy, stalking, discord, bloodlust, savagery, insanity and disease.

Hifi’iju is the ultimate tyrant and traditional villain. A moloch (thorny devil), covered in layers of razor-edged spikes, she is cunning and delights in the strife she creates, and she is often held to blame when brother turns against brother. Wicked and capricious, she is also blamed for bad luck. She lords over tyranny, torture, hatred, greed, misfortune, intrigue and plunder.

Jurraghahk is an ancient, simple-minded creature. A worm of gargantuan proportions, he is there for those who have nothing left. Those who are wicked in their lives are utterly consumed by him in the end, and he has grown fat over devouring the essences of countless dark people. It is said his belly is size enough to contain the underworld itself. And as one of the most disgusting deities, he is also the most vain and proud. He lords over decay, parasites, outcasts, loss, suffering, the infernal afterlife (hell), gluttony and vanity.

I decided to make a new entry so I wouldnt flood your mind. n_- Anyways...

As mentioned earlier I added a few new areas. Please thank Mika for building Mage town, while I added the Island of Everden and Pirates Isle. You can check out the new areas via the jumproom (dragon).

Everden is allied with the Xenith though they wouldnt consider themself as part of the Xenith. If I understood Viktor right that tend to change their opinions and loyality how they see fit. A few Evedians are working as snipers for Viktor. Lady Maria, bodyguard to the prince, is from Everden too.

The Air Pirates are an independant group, most from Everden, using their specially built Air Ship, the Black Rose, to attack Xenith Air Cargo Ships that are sent back and forth between Everden and other Xenith outposts. They dont seem to care much about the battle between Alition and Xenith as long as they can roam the skies freely.

GREAT NEWS!

The curse has finally been lifted! The sick citizens are all recovering, even those that have fallen into coma. Thanks to Lady Gothika, Sir Trevor and an unknown third person the curse that had befallen Vindell has finally been sealed once and for good.
Because of these news the King has made this day a day to celebrate and to remember for generations to come. Praised be the Collossus for watching over us once more.

Okay folks. I decided (after a talk with some of of my staff) that I do want my Air Pirates. *chuckles* So welcome Everden and the Air Pirates as new factions to K'raii. Whee. Anyways- Everden was created by Viktor so check this out:

Everden Island – Demographic Data


Introduction:

Everden is K’raii’s smallest independent country who allied themselves with the Xenith at the beginning of the current war. Everden is a self-sufficient community. The culture revolves around hunting. A noble of Everden is expected to be an excellent hunter. This is unsurprising as there are a number of aggressive natun species on the island.

With the Xenith as their allies, military spending has shot up on the island, and many of the youths join the Xenith Armed Forces. This has caused the island’s industries and commerce to suffer, and Everden now depends on Xenith supplies to make up for the lack of workforce.

8th February, 2005. 8:56 pm. Strange happenings at the Alition HQ

IC -- Alition

Strange noises have been reported at the Alition HQ after Sir Trevor went inside to investigate the death of several guards in the prison area. But when the commander of the guards went to check upon the odd noise he found the prison area sealed off as mysteriously the ceiling has collapsed, making it impossible to reach the prison area. For now it remains a mistery what exactly happened and how the area beyond the collapsed entrance looks, as well as its uncertain if Sir Trevor and lady Gothika are still alive or not. For now everything is been done to move the stones away, as quick as possible. Until further notice everybody is being requested to stay away from the Alition HQ.

Okay folks- a whole lot has happened since the last entry. Here we go:

IC -- Alition

The last thursday at 3:00PM the Troska Militia occupied the town of Norwood. They were assisted by Sir Thermadores cavalary who was backing up the attack as second defense. They didnt meet any resistance, only a few remaining Xenith gave a short firefight as they left the town in a hurry, but only one man was injured. Sir Viktor Troska announced shortly afterwards to build up a ring of defense around the town and thus made Norwood once again Alition territory. The citizens of Norwood are now under the protection of the Troska Militia and it will be made sure that no more rumours or secrets about Vindell will leave town unheard.

Sir Viktor showed again his skills as a military commander, his braveness as a knight and his wit as he managed to take over Norwood before the Xenith could react. Lets praise the Collosus for this victory and lets thank them for our brave knights.

Appendum:
With great joy I can announce that the news of Sir Viktors victory not only spread rapidly all through Vindell but it also raised our peoples spirit and brought the prince baxk out of his coma sleep. Praise the Collosus for this day!

Announcement by the High Command:

All soldiers and military commanders are requested to meet their High Commanders at given times to prepare a counter attack.
This is a black day for the Xenith as our Intelligence completly failed their duties. We will look into that matter to find the culprits that caused us this loss of Xenith Territory.
However, we wont just stand and watch. The Troska Militia has once more proven to be a great threat to our goals and our citizens. It is our duty to free Norwood from them once more and ensure the peoples safety there. We are counting on you, our proud soldiers, to fight with all your powers and make sure to send those cowardish Troska men fleeing.

As the news of Troskas military success spread through Systil, another message makes its rounds as well amongst the black market people and bounty hunters. 'Great reward for whoever is able to either bring us Sir Viktor (alive or dead) or one of his second in command (alive). Also rewards for any Troska soldier killed (proof needed).'


IC -- Alition

Rumours about guards being killed in the Alition Headquarters prison area are starting to spread but since theres no proof yet everybody is requested to stay calm and away from the prison area for now. Sir Trevor Alechem and Lady Gothika will look into the matter A.S.A.P. Until then please stay calm and continue with your daily life and work.

Holy moly.. Thats a lot of news. And a lot of possible RPs. So..Xenith forces..we need you to gather and get ready. And what will happen to the people of Norwood? How far will the Xenith go in their attempt to take Norwood back? What is Sir Troska really up to? And what has happened in the Alition HQ? When will the curse be lifted?

I should stop asking such questions. It sounds like from a cheap Soap Opera. n_n;; Anyways- CU folks on K'raii.

Here a little important tidbit that Bryce wanted me to post. For all those that heard of the rumors that the Troska militia will attack the village.

IC -- Neutral (Norwood)

Bryce would send a town crier around door to door quietly. He'd tell them, "The troska militia and the Xenith are gonna clash soon. All the old folks, kids and cripples get outta town. For the rest of us we gotta make sure neither side take out the town. If yer in go to the construction site of the new pub we'll let ye borrow a gun. We'll take to the roofs and shoot anyone who damages a building. But if you wanna take sides stay out of it.

Heres some new blurbs for things happening on Kraii. Whoo! Seems the Troska Militia is up to something big. But read for yourself.

IC -- Alition

To all citizens of Norwood:

The 12th Volunteers "Troska's Militia" will be attacking Norwood this coming Friday. The 12th Volunteers do not wish any non-combatants to get hurt in the inevitable conflict. It is therefore recommended that all non-combatants prepare safe shelter, or better yet to leave their homes until four days after the attack.

If you decide to stay, then make sure to move to a cellar when the attacks begin. Staying in your homes may become dangerous, and you may come under fire. If you cannot for whatever reason take shelter then there are steps to take to ensure your safety.

If soldiers approach you, clearly show that you are not a threat by moving into the open and placing your hands on your head. The soldiers will then secure you, and protect you. Do not make sudden movements that could be considered as aggressive as soldiers react very quickly to such movement. If you own any weapons, place them side by side in the centre of the first room the main door opens up into. Do not carry any weapons during the attack as you will then be regarded as a hostile threat.

When the attack is over, a base will be established and you will be directed to this place where you may speak to Sir Troska in person regarding anything to do with the attack over the following two days. If you are mistreated during the engagement, or any property or possessions are damaged, or your weapons are confiscated, please report this to Sir Troska.

Your co-operation is appreciated.

Whoops. I doubt the Xenith will like that. So all forces will have to gather (Brendan, ya hear me?). After all Norwood is somewhat considered as Xenith territory..at least by the Xenith. But what is Viktor up to this time? Is this a trick to get the Xenith to react? Find out on Kraii. n_-

Hello all. A few new entries from me. Lets see...

IC -- Alition

Attention!

To all guards and personel that work at the Alition headquarter:

From this day on it is strictly forbidden to open and/or enter the cell of the prisoner named Kerri. She is currently put under strict quarantine and everybody that would want to see her is to be requested to talk with Sir Trevor first.
Anybody that disobeys said orders will be severly punished.

If anybody wonders about upper post- Kerri has shown signs of being affected by the illness however in her case things took another turn. She is slowly starting to transform into a feral bloodthirsty creature. She is extremly dangerous (Sir Trevor barely escaped her) and will attack and attempt to kill whoever approaches her. So..if you feel the urgent wish to die.. c.c;

We need a powerful (good) magician so.. Mika- its your turn to get things rolling by either sending a messenger/message to your kids at mage town or get involved yourself. Please let me know what youd prefer- it might reverse your current state possibly? :)
